League of Utah Writers
The League of Utah Writers is a non-profit organization dedicated to offering friendship, education, and encouragement to the poets and writers of Utah. New members are always welcome.
About Us
The League of Utah Writers is supported by a grant from the Utah Division of Arts and Museums and the National Endowment for the Arts, Washington, D.C.
Our organization is dedicated to the encouragement and improvement of all writers in their writing skills. Members are writers and poets with various interests at all levels of skill and professionalism, and they meet in local chapters around the state to write, read, and discuss their work. They share ideas and expertise on the art of writing. Special guests may be invited to address chapter meetings.
Chapter meetings are open to the public and new members are always welcome. For more information, contact the president of the chapter nearest you.

- Please remember to put your chapter name with your payment and include any address, email or phone number changes. Only new members must enclose a Membership Application form with their payment. Members whose personal information has changed may also use this form to update their information.

Membership Benefits
Membership benefits include our quarterly newsletter, The Lariat; reduced entry fees for the annual Writing Contest, free attendance at Spring Workshop and reduced fees for Roundup. Your dues must be paid in full for the current year in order to qualify for benefits. Reminders for dues payments will be sent periodically throughout the year by email and/or in The Lariat. However, membership eligibility for all League activities is primarily the responsibility of the member.
